Illyria 229 BC. Rome is looking eastward. In the Adriatic Sea, Illyrian pirates wage terror and their exactions push Rome to intervene. The Illyrians must capture a maximum of Greek cities while avoiding being crushed by Roman Legions and ships.
Illyria 229 BC lasts 14 turns, each of one month between June 230 and July 229 BC. Rome is facing the Illyrians in the Adriatic.
Forces of both sides are different, as the powerful Roman legions may not intervene initially and the smaller Greek city-states shall face alone the pirates.
The Illyrians are more powerful at start, but each one of their actions may increase the number of their opponents..
The game event cards allow full replay ability thanks to the numerous various situations that they create on the diplomatic, military, political or economical fields
