The eastern segment of BNSF’s famed and busy Hi-Line Subdivision, as re-created by the Train Simulator Montana Hi-Line route, crosses the boundless high plains of Montana. The Hi-Line Subdivision is a key part of BNSF's bustling northern transcontinental line stretching between Chicago and Seattle and features a mix of single- and double-track main line that is host to a constant flow of rail traffic, including BNSF intermodal, manifest, and grain movements as well as Amtrak's Empire Builder.
Now, in High Iron Simulations’ realistic and challenging Montana Hi-Line Scenario Pack 01, you’ll experience the excitement of serving as an engineer on the Hi-Line route which features fast speeds, heavy volumes of rail traffic, and a sawtooth gradient profile with frequent climbs and drops of up to 1 percent!
In Montana Hi-Line Scenario Pack 01, you will:
Handle heavy tonnage working massive BNSF unit grain trains.
Serve as engineer of a high priority BNSF transcontinental intermodal train.
Take the controls of Amtrak’s legendary Empire Builder.
Work local freights and lineside switching duties at towering grain elevators.
Answer the call for switching duties at Shelby Yard.
Take the controls of diesels including BNSF’s ES44DC, GP38-2, and SW1500 as well as Amtrak’s GE P42DC locomotives.
Travel over the length of the captivating 108-mile Montana Hi-Line route.
Note: This scenario pack requires Train Simulator’s Montana Hi-Line Route Add-On. Select scenarios also require the Amtrak P42DC Empire Builder Loco Add On. This pack is available worldwide. BNSF markings will appear only on content distributed to U. S. customers.
