Simple but powerful code
The source code was written in C, which makes it very easy to know what it's doing - it doesn't have tons of files, tons of classes or tons of language features: just straight code!
Super permissive license
The game and the source is licensed under the public domain or a "do whatever you want license", so you can use it to learn, modify, copy, create your own projects, whatever you want!
