Romanticized Dreams of a Post-Apocalyptic Cowpoke is a action roguelike shooter. Fight your way through five bandit fortresses, collect weapons and treasure to increase your power, and take on the bandit leaders! With randomly generated: levels, enemies, and loot. Every playthrough will provide it's own unique challenges and opportunities. No two post-apocalyptic adventures will be the same. The journey will be a dangerous one but don't worry, defeat is simply a bad dream.
The Story
Many years after the big one, the event that ended the world. Society rebuilt the best they could, and as such welcome to the new old-west. Take on the role of a lone cowpoke arriving at a small town in the post-apocalyptic frontier. Unfortunately for you and the local citizens, a group of despicable bandits control the surrounding area. The Mayor seeks your help in dealing with these villains, so with nothing but your trusty old revolver and wits you set out to be a cowpoke of legends in this lawless land.
Devious Bandits and their Bosses
Local ruffians, led by the nefarious Baron Von Bandit, have taken over the countryside murdering and robbing anyone they come across. Assault the bandit strongholds, collecting new weapons and upgrades in order to help defeat each of the bandit captains. But beware, your challenges will increase the further you are in bandit territory.



Oodles of Weapons and Upgrades
While your trusty old revolver may get the job done there is always plenty of opportunity to upgrade your arsenal. Use the ill gotten gains of the bandits against them, pillaging their vaults and armories to increase your odds. Not only will scavenging help but you will also find opportunities to better your gear through trading your bloody bandit bucks for items from vendors who care only about money.

The Cowpoke
Be whoever you want to be, design your Cowpoke to fit your own style and taste! Customize your outfit from a variety of clothing options available to aquire in the town. It doesn't matter who you were or where you came from, all that matters is you're at the town and ready to help.

A Crazy World
Baron Von Bandit’s gang has spread far over the land. From their stronghold in the heart of the dry badlands, to a dense and lush forest. Each one of the five main stages hosts a different atmosphere. Explore the tight dark goldmine and brave the frigid north post before finally arriving at Baron Von Bandit’s luxurious villa where you will meet your ultimate challenge.
