Trainz 2022 DLC - Lafond Regional Railway

Lafond regional railway is a rail line that runs 32.7 kilometres (20.3 mile) of track in the semi- prairie area in Canada. The route offers not just open farm fields, but also offers a scenic line to Clearwater. Clark City has a small staging yard for the area, and is the doorway for the rest of the line.

The line was once owned and operated by a shortline railway. The towns of Clearwater and Fox purchased the line that ran through the what is known today as neighbourhoods and removed the tracks to build homes and roadways.

The line just southeast of the wye was ripped up by CN as the industries in Lost River where shipping by truck when the shortline was bought, and there was no longer needed to keep it maintained.

Although all of the lines east of Clark City sees an end at each of the towns, the area still sees half a dozen of local freights servicing the industries within the region each week.

The route maybe small, but offers large possible operations.
