Infiltrate procedurally-generated networks to fulfill your contracts. Breach barriers, disrupt sentries, exploit weaknesses, and reach your mission target before the network cuts you out. Every run challenges your logical thinking and ingenuity as you manage resources, choose your next sequence of moves, and evaluate risks and rewards.
Evade the trace
Most of the time, you're free to plan your next move carefully. But sooner or later, a real-time trace will force you to act under pressure, testing your decisiveness and ability to execute when every second counts.

Make your hacking rig your own, from the kernel at its heart to the memcard hosting the modules that power your abilities in the network runs. Expand the build with up to six powerful ACEX chips if you can afford it.

Scour the markets for the best components, negotiate the most lucrative contracts, or just chill in Fractal and see where the night takes you. You cannot do it all, though, and each decision has consequences.
