The nano-machines that have been empowering humanity's technological progress have started to malfunction, corrupting both machine as flesh.

- Each ship you enter is different, with a different kind of infection plaguing it and each mission will have different objectives.
- Be quick on your feet and adapt to unexpectedly changing situations as you identify and destroy the infection.
- Survive, but should you fail you may find your consciousness persisting within the infection itself, giving you a second chance.

- You may be tasked with repairing infected ship systems, either by using tools at your disposal or from beyond the grave.
- Some ships contain important items that need to be recovered, you best get to them before the infection does.
- There may still be survivors on the ship, find and escort them back to safety, lest they become one of the infection's many abominations.

- You will be watched, you will be hunted. Each monstrosity is vastly different from the last, requiring a different approach to avoiding or escaping them.
- The ship around you is slowly being corrupted, causing malfunctions in ship systems, oxygen deprivation, fire and explosions.
- Your suit protects you against the vacuum of space, but only for so long.
