Explore the renowned yellow halls of Level 0, the mysterious Poolrooms, Level Fun, and countless other distinctive spaces inspired by established Backrooms lore. The game is currently in Phase 4 of a five‑phase upgrade plan focused on improved graphics, lighting, signage, optimization, new voice work, NPCs and more.

60+ ENTITIES AND CREATURES
Face a wide range of inhabitants, from friendly wanderers to hostile forms. You can fight, flee, build traps, or befriend helpful entities that will follow and assist you.
Don’t like entities in The Backrooms? Just turn them off in the EXTENSIVE settings menu.

TRUE SOLO EXPERIENCE
BrVR is single‑player by design. We believe The Backrooms should convey isolation and unease, so the experience remains purely personal and atmospheric.

COMMUNITY AT THE HEART OF BRVR
Community‑Created Levels
Players with Unreal Engine knowledge contribute new levels with guidance and feedback through our Discord server. Several community‑made levels have already been added to the game. Our rough SDK and active support help new creators join in and learn while maintaining quality.

Your Name in the Game
Many in‑game businesses and props carry names of community members, playtesters, and supporters. A Supporters Wall features fans and subscribers, and memorial Easter eggs honor players and friends who have lost loved people or pets. Join the Discord for news, tips, to playtest or get your name on the supporters wall.
