YOU CAN PLAY WITH A KEYBOARD, BUT THE GAME IS BEST WITH A CONTROLLER!
This is a minimal skateboarding game with some unconventional features. Skaterift worlds have rifts in them which let you travel across them quickly and form endless loops to set lap times in.
Skaterift is centered around some subtle but finely tuned physics based movement. Pump naturally to gain speed, and maintain control over the wheels friction to keep it. It may take you some time to master these two things but once you do it'll let you flow smoothly throughout the courses and give you loads of airtime. We push things quite big here so you will learn to be comfortable going 100+km/h!
It's designed to be a laid back immersive experience, which is why it is in first person and there is no major HUD; your records will show up in analog form in various places, and if you're good enough, other peoples games too. Competing isn't for everyone though, so you are also free to just roam around explore.. do tricks and grinds where you want to, or master the flow of courses with friends by connecting to the global server.
