ROSE

ROSE is a violent arena shooter with rogue-like elements. Create your own builds by sacrificing parts of your body or reversing the sacrifices to gain boost and new abilities. Unlock new weapons, enhance them with powerful upgrades. Progress through randomized arenas, defeat demented enemies and vanquish titanic bosses to uncover the dark story. What are you willing to sacrifice to save your lost daughter Rose?

Sacrifice your flesh and blood
After each arena has been cleared you can choose from several sacrifices. Sacrifices will increase the complexity and difficulty of the game. Each body part sacrificed will add new mechanics and will change the game in a meaningful way.
Each sacrifice will increase your stress level, with enough stress you can reverse a sacrifice to gain a new ability instead.

Ever-changing arenas
Arenas are randomly selected from dozens of pre-made layouts. Traps, enemies and other objects are procedurally spawned. Each arena can spawn multiple waves of enemies.
In some arenas you can figh for additional rewards. In such cases, enemies will spawn with a special rule-set, forcing you to strategize and change your play style to complete the rule objective.
Not all the arenas are created equal, some may offer special mid-run upgrades or present you with an additional challenge in the form of a mini-boss.

Weapons and abilities
Each weapon provides a unique gameplay experience, some can even alter the maps themselves.
The gun selection ranges from a simple revolver to a demented gun which consumes your blood for ammo and punishes you each time you miss.
Unlock new weapons, upgrade them every time you die, then jump into battle once more!

Enemies and bosses
Enemies spawn in waves. After you clear a certain number of waves, the sacrificial altar will unlock, and you will move to a new arena. Some arenas may spawn bosses instead of regular enemies.

Story
Rose tells a story about life, death and hope.
You will find out more about the story by progressing through the arenas, special encounters, defeating bosses and dying.
