Set in a bizarre yet wonderful world, Liam_99 is a story-driven, adventure and exploration game. You’ll play as - and sometimes alongside - Liam, a skeleton who lost every memories of his past life... but still knows he's the main character of a video game!
Helping Liam remember who he was will require you to overcome four major adventures, each one very different from the others - in terms of environment and ambiance as well as gameplay-wise. Brace yourself for various challenges such as obstacle races or puzzles, exalted with a touch of 4th wall-breaking and absurd jokes!
In addition to these four adventures, Liam_99 shall let you roam freely a world full of wonders and secrets. Discover famous works of art (anew), plunder treasure chests and collect strange keys, venture deep underground… or have a moment to take in the view and appreciate Liam’s jokes. Whatever works best for you!
Liam_99 aims to offer a refreshing, carefully designed experience.
The game shall be fully voice-acted in French, as well as in English - if the crowdfunding campaign is enough of a success.
Spoiler alert: Liam's past is hardly a bed of roses.
The breaking of the 4th wall lies at the core of Liam_99's design and narration.
