Also known by its official name “Osaka International Airport,” Itami Airport is located in the center of Japan’s Keihanshin metropolitan area. In order to control noise it operates only between 07:00 and 21:00, but the airport’s highly convenient location makes it No. 1 for domestic flights among the Kansai region’s three airports.

[Control air traffic on two unique runways, one short and one long!]
Itami Airport has two runways of different lengths. Runway A is short at only about 1,800 meters, while runway B is about 3,000 meters in length. Large aircraft can only use runway B and must cross runway A when taking off and landing. It’s up to you to issue precisely timed clearances to aircraft using runway B so that they can cross the runway through gaps in the long line of traffic.

In addition to the airport’s observation deck, the Senrigawa River and Itami Sky Park are also favorite vantage points for aviation fans. This game replicates those vantage points using fixed position cameras. This means you can play the game from these popular vantage points and replay views of the aircraft as much as you want!
