Inpulse

Inpulse is a precision platformer that teaches you how to win. You are Flute, a shapeshifting creature who plays music to move, by collecting notes and firing them outwards to move through the air.

Each of the seven notes, corresponding to the musical scale, has its own unique movement mechanic, melody, and color. Each effect is simple on its own, but as their effects stack with one another, they enable deep combos and complex routing through levels.
Success is Harmony
Notes harmonize to the music, so you can hear what went wrong before seeing how it played out. Every sound effect dynamically adjusts to what the music is doing, so you can hear correct and incorrect inputs. 
Each world features a single evolving piece of music in a multi-genre fusion inspired soundtrack. Every level unlocks a little bit more of that world’s song.

Learn How to Win
Inpulse will throw incredibly tricky challenges your way. But you will never get stuck in a level, as each one comes with a full replay and a DDR-style input screen teaching you how to play it.
Get to a tough part you can’t beat? Inpulse comes with emulator-style save states which load instantaneously, and are designed to not overwrite previous progress. Practice makes perfect.

Want to practice a challenging section? Play the game at half or quarter speed until it clicks.
Record your own replays and send them to your friends. Speed them up or slow them down to learn from them. Replays are fully compatible with savestates and will splice together to create a perfect run.
Create Your Own Levels and Edit Existing Ones
Pause the game at any moment and modify the level you’re playing. The game is also the editor, unlocking new features as you progress further. Separate Levels into Photoshop-style layers which move and can be drawn upon independently. 

Export levels into an image, draw on top of it, and hotload it back into the game on the fly. Add a song to your level file and specify the musical scale. Every sound effect in the game will adjust to match the composition.
