Who is this game for?
Warmongers is a strategy game about a variety of heroes and their unique armies. Each of them requires its own approach, all have strengths and weaknesses, as well as special abilities that are not available to others. The game does not have a large number of characteristics for units or complex economic models; its main goal is to be accessible, but varied so that fans of turn-based strategies can again and again enjoy small races for 1-2 hours. But it doesn't mean game is easy. And the roguelike structure and leaderboard will make each attempt to beat the game different from the others.HISTORY
A storm is coming. With the last devastating war, the great empires and mighty rulers of the past fell into oblivion, and world turned into ruins. But there is no peace for the survivors; they will have to fight for every piece of fertile land, for every inexhausted mine. You find yourself in enemy lands and it is unknown what may await you there. Every coin, every unit hired or lost, ability upgraded, or artifact received can separate victory from defeat. 21 units, 3 heroes, 6 basic and 40+ upgradeable abilities, artifacts, unique building effects and unusual battle mechanics make the battles multifaceted and varied. And the structure of the game makes it possible to approach battles with completely different tactics and objectives.
