Chessire

What if the game of chess was set in a fantasy world where pieces have health, damage, armor and all kinds of magical abilities?
You get Chessire - a roguelike turn-based tactics auto battler!


How should you build your army? There is no right answer. The systems are yours to explore and the builds you can achieve are limited by your imagination alone.

You can:
Outnumber your enemy with a swarm of units

Rank up a single carry unit to dismantle an entire army

Summon lots of units in a battle to overwhelm the enemy

Poison or Burn the enemy to whittle them down with attrition

Disable the enemy from acting with Stuns, Maims and Disarms

Buff up your units damage to one-shot enemy units (...kind of like Chess then?)

Break the turn economy and take multiple actions per turn while your opponent watches you pop off

...and probably more because I'm adding stuff to the game more frequently than I'm updating this description.




Currently the only playable mode is Arena, a asynchronous multiplayer PvP mode. You start with a lone King and build up your army across rounds to achieve 10 victories against other players.
The game will support more modes in the future, multiplayer lobbies, turn-based puzzle missions and a roguelike singleplayer campaign!
