The game is set in a forest environment, filled with clues as to what is happening, as well as a Cabin, a Chapel, a Cave, a Hidden Burial Site and a Tower. You will have to investigate all those locations in order to uncover the dark secrets the forest holds, while being hunted by a powerful beast!Investigate

Like every psychological horror game that takes itself seriously, Gnarly Hike contains multiple puzzles, ranging from easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy to "Oh my God dude, hurry up, it's coming, the code is ___"

Perform rituals
This game revolves around the supernatural. Therefore, you will have to perform a number of rituals and spells to make progress in the latter parts of the game.

Shoot guns
When spells and rituals don't do the trick, you can always trust your guns to keep the beast at bay long enough for you to escape

Run and Hide
Sometimes, guns and spells just don't do the job...so if nothing else works, maybe it's better to just avoid the beast!
