Lords of Nysera

Lords of Nysera is a Tactical RPG inspired by games like Fire Emblem 4, Shining Force, Final Fantasy Tactics, and D&D. As the player, you will recruit beautifully rendered characters each with rich personalities, thoughtful story arcs and unique abilities to aid you in battle.

A phase-based tactical system of combat, where each team takes turns moving troops and taking actions to accomplish goals.

Pseudo-2D terrain, where castles and other guarded structures give boosts to ranged units and prevent melee attacks.

Structures which can be destroyed, repaired and bolstered to stave off enemy siege equipment.

12 elements of magic which can be researched to devastate enemies, raise morale, or provide powerful buffs and de-buffs.

Command cohorts of recruits which follow unique leader units into battle. Cohorts will keep formation so long as their morale remains intact!

The Landscape
Nysera is an ever-shifting world subject to the whims of gods and the ravages of magic. What little inhabitable land is encircled by a storm which makes even regular sea-transport difficult. 

Battle maps in Nysera range from large, expansive swaths of land, to cramped dungeon corridors. You'll find that each battle has it's own challenges associated with it as you progress through the game, forcing you to adapt and change tactics to claim victory.

Throughout the world you'll find dungeons to loot and caves to explore. Just be wary of the darkness when you delve into them.

The Units
Lords of Nysera is entirely made by hand in a classic pixel art style, with custom sprites made for nearly every unique unit.

You'll even find units riding different breeds of mounts, with matching color palettes!

The Lords
Nysera is a expansive and diverse world that is reflected in it's cast of leaders. Will you choose diplomacy as Sholeh? Or lay waste to your enemies with magic as Isidara? How you fight your battles will determine how each faction views your army.
