You are eM and you just finished school in Heden, or the Lower Town, home to merchants, geographers, and smugglers. You dream of studying in Vaughis, the resplendent Upper City, and today your dream comes true: you are invited to Vaughis University! But there’s a catch: you must pass an exam in history—the only subject you weren’t taught at school.
By exploring the city, talking to locals, and occasionally warping space and time, you’ll turn the streets of Heden into history books to reveal forgotten mysteries that will change everything.

We are Heden Smugglers, a small indie studio from Kyiv, Ukraine. 
Our city is our biggest inspiration: Hedenite is full of Easter eggs and references to Kyiv’s history, architecture, railway transport, and people.
