STORY 
“Your mom’s really pretty, y’know?” 
Makoto’s used to hearing this from customers, neighbors, classmates, and even his best friend, Hiroki. After all, raised by single moms, these two young bachelors grew up practically in each other’s homes. 
One innocent enough afternoon, what started as lighthearted ribbing turns into something more awkward when Hiroki confesses he has a crush on Makoto’s mom. At first, Makoto laughs it off, but Hiroki quickly flips the question on him. 
“Come on, don’t tell me you’ve never thought about my mom that way!” 
Makoto freezes, speechless. The truth is he has—for the longest time! 
A surreal buddy comedy about two single best friends, their crush-worthy moms, and the embarrassingly inconvenient feelings that sometimes surface when we least expect them... 
CHARACTERS

Ryoko Kudo 
Mei Misonoo 
Makoto’s mom. Graceful, warm, and sharper than she lets on, Ryoko runs a popular little café at the edge of the shopping district. She’s known for her coffee and charm, though she may not realize the effect she has on certain people, least of all her son’s best friend. 

Aiko Kusakabe 
Tokio Aoi 
Hiroki’s mom. Sunny, sweet, and a little too good at pretending not to notice, Aiko used to work for a big-name company before switching to café life with Ryoko. She’s been close to Makoto since he was a kid, but now he’s acting weirdly distant, and she’s not sure why... 

Hiroki Kusakabe

Makoto’s childhood friend and next-door neighbor. Outgoing and a bit of a flirt, Hiroki hides a more sincere side beneath his frat-bro facade. Lately, he’s been more vocal about his full-blown crush on Makoto’s mom—and senses there’s something Makoto isn’t saying, too.

A mild-mannered, thoughtful judo enthusiast. Raised by his mother, Ryoko, he’s used to hearing comments about how young and beautiful she looks, even from his best friend, Hiroki. He usually brushes it off, but lately, they’ve been hitting closer to home...
