A time when simple, 2D games reigned supreme, and 8-bits were all you needed. A time before invasive tutorials, in-game ads, and prolonged cutscenes. A time when "pixel perfect" was the standard.

Super Sunny World is born out of those memories. It is a love-letter to the games that forged my youth. It is a pixel-perfect platformer inspired by the greatest platforming games of the 8-bit era. You will be running, jumping, bouncing off enemies, and searching for hidden secrets hidden in blocks and tunnels.

But Super Sunny World doesn’t just look retro, it IS retro! This is an actual NES game, 100% compatible with a real NES console, but playable via Steam on your PC.

At it’s core, Super Sunny World is heavily inspired by platforming games of the 8-bit era, and stays true to that limited scope. Controls are extremely tight, and great care has been taken to make sure that while the game is “NES Hard”, it is always fair.
