Randall is a young teen living a completely normal life for a nerd in the 80s. Apart from often being the main target of bullying by his school's American football stars (Scott, Chad and Biff), Randall likes to spend his time lost in the world of video games and comics, as well as dreaming about his crush, Becky, the most popular girl in school who barely knows he exists.

One Saturday, on his way to a card tournament, Randall unexpectedly runs into Scott and his gang outside. Nearly facing a round of bullying once again, the situation takes a surprising turn when a mysterious presence suddenly intervenes and scares the bullies away. In the face of this event, Randall presumes that he is now in the company of a divine entity that's come to his aid, and gains newfound confidence to stand up to Scott and finally win Becky over.

Codename: GOD immerses the player in a small 16-bit universe somewhere in the 1980s, where they act as a divine figure following the ordinary and unexciting life of a nerd in a point-and-click adventure packed with a variety of puzzles. Every character has a story, every choice matters, and the solution to each problem is limited only by the player's own imagination!
