Moving On follows Addison, a high school graduate, as they help their recently-deceased mother move on to the Spirit World. In this 2D visual narrative and platformer, Addison must explore and find special objects while being confronted with a journey of grief. In addition to Addison being able to interact with others in their world, Addison suddenly has the power to see ghosts waiting to move on. They can interact with ghosts, hearing about their backstories and learning more about the Spirit World.

When Addison visits their local cemetery, you (the player) have an option to input your own personal story of loss. Don’t worry, they won’t be shared with anybody— just yourself. Use this area to help reflect on your own personal experiences.
