beyond.frontiers is a space sandbox about freedom: fast arcade flight, a living economy and a galaxy that keeps moving whether you are watching or not. Trade, explore, fight and build your own place among the stars. Beyond the gate, the frontier is yours.
FLY. FIGHT. DOCK. LAND.
Arcade flight, steered with the mouse. Point where you want to go. Switch to a free cursor for menus and map in a single keypress.

Dogfights and bounty hunting. Take on pirates, escort traders, and answer distress calls.

Jump gates and hyperlanes. Cross sectors through huge ancient gates and ride the lanes between systems.

Stations, shipyards and showrooms. Dock, refit, repair, and browse the ship dealer's showroom floor.

A GALAXY THAT TRADES WITHOUT YOU
Galaxy-wide economy. Every station keeps its own stock, prices and demand. The whole galaxy is simulated, not just the sector you are in.

Traders can be lost. Low-security systems are dangerous. Convoys get raided, goods go missing and shortages ripple outward. Random events keep every route interesting.

News that matters. You hear about losses and opportunities nearby, if you stand on good terms with the faction involved.

LAND ON PLANETS AND GO ON FOOT
Leave orbit, enter the atmosphere, land, and step out of your ship.
Explore megacities with towering residential blocks. Buildings can be entered, from lobbies to bars and basement parties.

Search for underground subway dungeons that run several floors deep.

Fight on foot with a growing arsenal of weapons and attachments.

BUILD YOUR FLEET AND YOUR CREW
Many different ships from nimble fighters to heavy freighters, built by the factions. Own several and fly one yourself.

Hire pilots for the rest. Each has Bravery, Resourcefulness and Navigation ratings and a role as combat pilot, trader, explorer or miner. Better pilots survive longer, but they also ask for a bigger cut.

Plan your own FOB. Build a Forward Operating Base where your miners deliver. Defend it. If it falls it can be occupied and retaken, but wait too long and it is gone for good.

Run several missions at once and keep track of them on your mission board.

SIX FACTIONS, ONE FRONTIER
Join or oppose the great powers, the Terran Conglomerate, the Sirius Dominion and the Orion Protectorate. Work the neutral territories, deal with the outlaw syndicate, or wait for contact with the enigmatic Shyv'Kahn. Your standing with each faction decides which doors open and which close.
