Long ago, a brave warrior named Alp challenged the pillar towering above Solusta, the land between the living and the dead, only to vanish without a trace. Now, a nameless hero takes up Alp's shield infused with his power, determined to continue his legacy and uncover the secrets hidden within the pillar's heights.

Shieldbound is a hand-drawn, 2D action-adventure metroidvania with a unique twist where you use your shield to do everything from platforming to combat. Set in colorful and cartoony world, filled to the brim with lively characters and vibrant environments in contrast with the souls-like formula.

Explore a massive world with interconnected areas such as a lush green cave system overrun by the wind, a vibrant and welcoming village built on top of a river, an underground castle ruled by dragon and many more. All in hopes to find your way to the top of the mysterious pillar towering above all.
