DISSIDENT

DISSIDENT is a 2D platformer game with a rich story and many plot twists. You play as Aramin, a man who just woke up into the chaos that is happening all aroung the world without any context. It is up to you to find out what happened and help restore everything to normal. You will find new gameplay mechanics and great comic style storytelling in this game.

DISSIDENT features fluid controls with numerous enhancements to make them feel as good as possible. You can play with just a keyboard, with a combination of keyboard and mouse. Controller support is coming soon as well. The movement is fine-tuned to be challenging and fun and the combat mechanics are easy to learn but hard to master, offering many possibilities on how to approach each level.

The story of DISSIDENT is well-written and presents to you many characters with interesting personalities. You will not only meet humans on your journey, but also creatures with great powers that will try to prevent you from completing your quest. It is told by hand-drawn comics presented after each completed level, unveiling the story as you progress through the game.
