The search for gold begins! Start your journey as an inspiring Miner who has made his mining claim on new land he believes to be rich in resources. All your experience as a miner thus far has lead you to this point when your will be challenged to develop your own mining town. With some hard work, you could become the largest mining operation!
Striking Gold is a Western mining city builder all about developing your own mining town and hoping to strike big on a gold vein that'll lead you to success and bring massive funding/tourism to your town! Don't get to comfortable, this town will throw many challenges your way to prevent you from progressing forward towards your boom town. Collect mining resources, refine ore for my value, build and upgrade your town. If you can't strike big on mining ores soon, you'll lose funding on the town and ultimately become a ghost town.
Main Features:
Build a mining town from scratch in harsh environments. Keep the interest of your funders to prevent bankruptcy and failing. It's all about strategy and speed.
Mine Resources
Mine and dig deep into mountains/ground to explore and collect various resources to expand your town with.
City Build
Place building and expand your town to become larger and more resourceful during your gameplay.
Random Challenges
Overcome random challenges that will be thrown at you as the player, such as defending your banks from bank robbers, fighting of gang members, collapses within mine shafts and more.
Research Tree
Unlock new technologies to help make your town more efficient, such as upgrading tools, unlocking dynamite, unlocking better light systems within the mine and more.
Western Aesthetic
A great take at what life might have been like as a miner in the late 1800's or early 1900's in a western styled fashion.
