Tears Apart

Strike through enemies, evade incoming attacks, and get into position for your next strike. This is what a single Tear can do and you get five in a row. Use all five and the cycle reloads. Craft your build with upgrades you equip, then learn to make every Tear work with the next. Master it, and make light work of carving through the Decay.

BUILD YOUR COMBAT CYCLE
Power up your Tears, strengthen your cast, or invest in Vane herself. Each has its own upgrade pool, and you won’t get everything you want. Choose what your build needs, combine effects, and put them to work. Then take it into combat. Your upgrades decide what each Tear can do. Your timing and positioning decide how much damage you can get away with.



COMBINE WEAPONS AND CASTS
Choose a weapon, pair it with a cast, and change how you fight before you equip a single upgrade. Different weapons change the reach and rhythm of your Tears, while casts bring their own abilities and upgrades into the fight. Switch weapons every run, and those familiar upgrades might deserve a different place.


MEET THE ONES STILL AWAKE
Not everyone down here wants Vane gone. Some just want to talk or even maybe help her. Meet the residents of a fading realm, each with their own troubles, convictions and ideas about what’s best for you. A little warmth, some questionable advice, and the occasional offer to put you back to sleep. Vane is only trying to get home. She can do without that last one.
