RECORD_DrowsyVortex is a multimodal project that experimentally combines book, game, and several other forms of design to reconstruct a piece of historical background on the Space Immigration Era from different perspectives.

Game Introduction

The game of RECORD_DrowsyVortex is a post-apocalyptic exploration-focused RPG set in the future era of Space Immigration. It is one piece of recorded data transmitted from Planet Drowsy Vortex centuries later, through which the players will be able to immersively experience a local post-disaster survivor's weird and memorable story.

A time when everyone relied on space suits.
Daily life was seemingly ordinary.
Then suddenly, anomalies appeared!
It was gradually collapsing of cognition...

IMPORTANT NOTES

This game was developed with RPG Maker MZ, so the Steam screenshot function cannot be directly activated by F12. If this function is needed, please follow these steps:

1. Copy the following code:
--in-process-gpu
2. Paste it into Library > RECORD_DrowsyVortex > Manage > Properties... > Launch Options (as shown in the picture)
3. Now screenshots can be taken with F12.

Story Overview

The story begins on a Space Immigrants planet that has experienced a devastating natural disaster, named Drowsy Vortex. As one of the survivors, the protagonist voluntarily became an investigator on the only remaining land, but whose daily life was immersed in finding investigation commissions and running errands. Although the living environment was not what it used to be, the survivors could still live in peace with mutual support.

One day, a huge and abnormal creature suddenly appeared on this very last land of the planet, disrupting the increasingly peaceful post-disaster life.
As people gradually accepted its harmlessness and began to get used to its existence, more weird situations beyond recognition have quietly penetrated into the protagonist's life... What truths are still hidden on the lost Drowsy Vortex?
