After slowly getting used to the monotony of the hospital, a letter is placed gently in front of you...
The scrawl is as embarrassed about its content as the old woman is to have burdened you with it.
It reads:
We are all so glad to hear about your swift recovery, the state of drivers these days worry us all!
Please can you continue towards that stead, the old pastor's ever so ill and we hear he's not got long left.
We know this is a big ask, with your condition, but this is a delicate congregation, no sense on how to be without their spiritual guide.
She stares, interrogating blinks trying to tease out your faculties.
