Relics - The Card Game

Relics is a fast-paced, accessible collectible card game with a rougelite twist. In this game, you will lead a group of explorers, competing against others for ancient treasures called Relics. Play against bots or compete against real players; it is up to you.

Unlike most collectible card games, Relics is designed to be accessible for newcomers. Anyone can pick it up in less than a minute:
Each round consists of 5 turns. 

On each turn, each player draws a card. 

To end their turn, the player must Play a card. Besides playing cards, the player can perform optional actions: Discard and Cast Spell.

After 5 turns, the round ends. The player with the highest score wins the round. They also get to take a Relic and use its power in their favor.

Whoever wins 3 rounds wins the game. 

Despite its simplicity at first glance, the game has plenty of unique mechanics to keep veterans on their toes. Cards have their own keyword that requires skillful plays to utilize properly. Combine that with a unique mana system for spell casting, and you get an experience that is like no others.

Building a deck is quite simple. Select a faction, then start adding cards into your deck. A valid deck must contain 12 cards with the total cost less than or equal to 60. The stronger a card is, the more expensive it is. So think wisely when you add cards to your deck. 
Most cards are compatible with two different Factions. So, if you like a card but are not a fan of the current Faction, you can change the Faction of your deck and keep that card in the deck. The possibilities are endless. Feel free and be creative! 

Players gain Experience Points for playing the game. And when they accumulate enough points, they level up and gain an Unlock Token. You can unlock new cards from an ever-expanding pool with these tokens. In this game, you get what you want simply by playing. If you are a beginner, feel free to unlock cards with mechanics that you are familiar with. If you are a veteran, perhaps you would like to try out new archetypes. The choice is yours. 
The game also features a mission system that rewards players for their creativity. By experimenting with different archetypes, players can complete these additional missions to get extra Experience Points to progress even faster.

No battle is the same. Every battle has its own set of Relics, which requires the player to think differently every time.
