Saci: The Cursed Hunt is a first-person horror game inspired by Brazilian folklore. Step into a cursed forest where myth and reality blur. Survive the hunt of the legendary one-legged trickster spirit: Saci. With dynamic weather, a procedurally generated forest, haunting visuals, and intense encounters, every trail leads deeper into forgotten legend.
Survive the night or become another victim of the jungle’s deadly legend. Gather the right objects to capture the Saci: the sieve, the bottle, and the cork. Each step you take and every sound you make could be your last. Move carefully, stay silent, and don’t let the darkness deceive you.
The red waypoints reveal where the objects might be hidden... but not everything marked is safe. Run only when you must, you never know what’s listening in the dark. If you hear something moving nearby, stop. Crouch, turn off your flashlight, and wait. With luck, the Saci might pass you by.
Once you’ve gathered all three objects, your only chance to survive is to capture the Saci himself. Watch for the whirlwind, that’s when he’s vulnerable. Use the sieve to trap him, then the bottle and the cork to seal your fate... or his.

Who is Saci?
The game draws from Brazilian folklore, where Saci-Pererê is not only a mischievous trickster but also one of the guardians of the forests. Known for his one-legged figure, magical red cap, and pipe, Saci controls whirlwinds and alters the jungle to confuse travellers. In this version, Saci’s dark past as a former enslaved child who lost his leg adds a tragic edge to his pranks. He warps the forest with illusions and traps to guard it at all costs, laughing as he turns your hunt into one of his cruel games.
