Drifters & Demons is a top-down shooter where you must defend a settlement against waves of attacking monsters. After a cataclysmic event, humanity hangs on by a thread in a world ravaged by demons and undead. As the leader of the camp, it is your job to keep everyone safe. How many days can you defend against the onslaught?

Since you're the only one with any real motivation in this god-forsaken camp, you will also have to step up and take on the role of mayor. Build shelters for new survivors and set up shops. Place defenses and upgrade stations. Turrets and traps will play a big part in your survival once the klaxon sounds and the demons start appearing. Buildings can be upgraded for a variety of effects.

As you expand your camp, survivors will start appearing. Rescue them and build shelters for them and they will pay you back by providing services. Survivors that are housed in cabins will become gatherers, while a survivor that lives in a chapel will become a spell-casting priest.
It is crucial to keep your townsfolk alive and thriving.

Aside from looting useful resources, weapons, and equipment during combat, you can also buy and upgrade weapons inside the camp. As the sheriff you can choose new abilities when you have enough experience gems. Metal can be used to buy weapons and defenses, as well as to upgrade them. Salvage can be used to construct and repair buildings and defenses.
