Stellar Archipelago is a third-person base builder set among the stars.
On the far frontier, your mission is clear: transform a chain of isolated micro-worlds into thriving, interconnected settlements capable of sustaining life far beyond the Inner Sphere. Humanity’s core systems are overcrowded and depleted — success in your sector could open the door to a new era of expansion.
Each procedurally generated star system you enter presents unique layouts and challenges. To complete your mission, you must build, expand, and ultimately prove that your system can support large populations across multiple planets.
Collect
Descend onto miniature planets scattered across your system and begin gathering the essentials for survival. Harvest metals, minerals, and organic compounds from the surface of each plant. Use your mining laser to mine any object on any planet to collect resources. 

Build
Construct and organize your first colony from the ground up.
Place and upgrade structures to generate energy, food, water, and infrastructure for your growing population.
Balance limited space and terrain constraints with the needs of your settlers. Whether you’re creating habitat domes beneath the clouds, anchoring geothermal plants into molten crusts, or creating arrays of solar panels, every decision shapes the sustainability and identity of your settlement.
Utilize adjacency bonuses and penalties between particular buildings to create optimal settlement layouts.


Explore
Expand your reach beyond a single world.
Each miniature planet in your system is fully explorable, small enough to traverse on foot, or even orbit, yet large enough to host a growing settlement. Jump between planets while making sure that you have enough oxygen to survive the journey. Survey new environments, discover natural landmarks, find new resource locations, and unlock advanced structures. 

Expand
Place buildings, manage resources, and nurture your population. As your community grows, new opportunities emerge. Every settlement contributes to the larger star system you’re developing. Expand beyond a single planet, creating system spanning colonies that work together and share resources to support your growing population. 

Connect
When your system thrives and your population surpasses the critical milestone of one hundred settlers, a new frontier opens. Construct the Warp Junction, a monumental gateway linking your star system to the wider galaxy.
