The twisted species emerging within these zones are only one of the obstacles standing in your way. You will also encounter agents from rival factions, mercenaries, and madmen whose minds have been swallowed by the void. When order disappears, the deadliest threat is not always the beast in front of you.
Above all else, remember the first rule of every operation:
Survive.

Use the Gunsmith system to turn whatever you can find into something deadly. Every unorthodox build is yours to test, and the answer will reveal itself the moment you pull the trigger — whether you have created a battlefield-dominating superweapon or a metal coffin that detonates in your hands.

When dark violet corruption patterns begin to crawl across the weapon’s surface, it means the gun has broken free from traditional specifications. “Compatibility” no longer applies. You might craft an engineering miracle that defies logic. Or you might end up with a dangerous piece of scrap fit only for an accident report.

Even after rigorous training and time spent adapting to this alien environment, an agent’s growth is never complete. Greater strength, agility, and firearm control help you carry more, move faster, and react before the threat does. Every sprint, strike, and shot sharpens your body, instincts, and weapon proficiency.

Bring back resources, maintain your gear, reinforce your facilities, and turn that “junk” into another chance to survive. Never underestimate the value of logistics. Once you transform your Safe House into a fortress, your next step into the abyss will be steadier than the last.

Venture into Dimensional Fragments alone, or form an exploration squad with up to three other U.R.C. agents for multiplayer missions. Close coordination can greatly improve your extraction rewards and survival odds. Here, watching each other’s backs is not just a virtue. It is essential for survival.
