SYNTHROME

SYNTHROME is designed with speedrunners in mind. It mixes early 2000s 3D platformer charm with modern gameplay & game design.
The game is all about speed, precision, and fluid movement.
Every jump, slide, and burst of speed must be carefully timed, turning each level into a test of skill and strategy.

Level Design
SYNTHROME level design is inspired by Sonic adventure, where the levels feel more like a playground, and the more you master the mechanics & memorize the level, the more you can find new ways, faster times to beat the level, or search for secrets & rewards.
It follows the open-level design philosophy where the level is sort of linear but almost everything you see in the level is reachable and is part of the design (almost nothing is “just a background”)
This offers a ton of replay value for the players & new ways to speedrun the game, as we encourage players to “break” the levels & the game (I mean, it’s more fun isn’t it?)

Story
The world of SYNTHROME was once ruled by The Builders, who built the SynthRide for times of war & instability, which you the player will control, in a fight against the Seven SYNs who took over the world of SYNTHROME, guided by mysterious cues & logs, you find yourself sometimes lost, but you have one mission & one mission only, which is liberate SYNTHROME from the SYNs.
You start off logging in the “server” which is uncorrupted. Then move on to the hub, which is chaotic, you’ll go through a long journey through vast lands & different environments all the way to SYN City all spread out across 18+ full levels.

Challenge mode

SYNTHROME offers a challenge mode where you get different types of puzzles, platforming challenges, stealth, time-attack, over 15 different challenges for those of you that are hardcore gamers looking for a challenge.
