Echoes of Essence

Echoes of Essence is a top-down survivor-like action roguelite, inspired by Vampire Survivors, Halls of Torment, and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor.

Set in a forgotten world of machines and magic, you awaken in a dark cave — revived by C0RA, an ancient robot that can’t quite tell if you’re human… or something else.
There’s no exit — only a flickering portal that stirs to life when you lift your blade.

Step through the portal and face relentless waves of enemies. Fight, aim, and dodge in fast-paced hybrid combat that blends auto-shooting with manual directional control. Gather Essence from fallen foes to grow stronger, unlock new weapons, and forge your own build each run.

When you fall, you awaken again in the cave — your home base. C0RA uses your harvested Essence to reawaken long-dormant machines, craft upgrades, and unlock permanent progress. Every death pushes the story forward, revealing more of the cave’s secrets and your mysterious connection to it.
