Shapes-Like

You are one of the last Pilots in a universe on the verge of collapse and infested with the geometric plague that is the Shapes.
Shapes-Like aims to take the goofy fun of a retro space shooter and combine it with the evolving nature of a modern rogue-like.
Choose a loadout from hundreds of different weapon, ability and ship combinations.

Pick from classic arcade weapons like the basic laser, machine gun or shotgun or pick one of the zanier options like the boomerang, energy sword or particle hammer. Feeling lazy? Let your little buddy auto-turret do the shooting.
Choose between defensive ability options like the Active Shield or Ghosting or pick abilities that upgrade your firepower in the Particle Thrower and Overclocking your weapon! Or maybe you just wanna push stuff around? Don't worry there's an ability for that.
A variety of ships means you can start your build where you want: Need a slow ship with a lot of firepower? Got you covered with the Vulture. Wanna be "fast as f*@k boi?" Go for the Sparrow. Wanna spam that ability? Look no further than the Owl.
Then jump in and survive hordes of hostile Shapes, each one mechanically distinct and requiring a different approach to defeat.

As you kill more and more Shapes, level up and upgrade your ship in a myriad of ways and unlock Unique Perks which can drastically alter how your Ship plays.
Explore colorful galaxies and conquer cataclysmic events like Asteroid Fields and Solar Winds as you navigate the disintegration of the Universe.
