A VERY BAD FIRST DAY
Tim was supposed to find three missing books. Instead, he broke an ancient seal and released Kaelvorn, the Cursed Devourer.
His boss has asked him to recover the three scattered pieces of the Broken Relic™ and save the world.
He has also fired him.
MEET THE LOCALS
Explore forbidden archives, mountain towns and the goblin settlements of the Abyssal Depths. A fantasy adventure across three acts, with detailed pixel art and full English voice acting.
Help a runaway goblin bride, enter a gladiatorial tournament and break into a bank with a thieves’ guild run by rats (It’s a secret guild, they have a sign.)
NOT EVERYONE IS HAPPY WHEN YOU GO AROUND SOLVING PUZZLES
Inspect your surroundings, follow conversations for clues and combine items to solve puzzles across connected locations. Choose which of the three shards to pursue first.
You might uncover an ancient secret. You might finally open a passage that has been sealed for centuries. You might then have to explain yourself to the goblin who was being paid to fix it.

Hi, I’m Pablo. I design, write, draw and code Broken Relic, with collaborators helping with the music, animation and voices.
I’m making the game around my day job. Tim’s employment situation is considerably less stable.
GET FIRED. FOR FREE.
The entire first act is available as a free demo, fully voiced in English.
