A new Horizon is a singleplayer campaign centered around the rumored discovery of a seemingly impossible planet, codenamed Planet S. The story is told from the perspective of Hazel Renex, an ambitious young Commander with a strong determination to uncover the truth herself. However, she is not the only one who wants to reach Planet S first.

The truth behind Planet S

Hazel Renex grew up on the research planet Yggdrasil with her father Theodor being one of its leading scientists. After the discovery of Planet S, Theodor was the one who decided to keep it a secret. Hazel knew how serious his work was to him, so she never pried much… until a new competitor appeared on the horizon.

The public face of the Circle is Prof. Heinrich Dresher, a former council member of the Coalition for intergalactic Travel. His ambitions were always driven by his thirst for knowledge. When the rumors about Planet S reached him, he knew they were too big to simply ignore, no matter how unlikely. That’s when he decided to take matters into his own hands.

The Wolves are regarded as one of the most dangerous groups of mercenaries in the entire galaxy. They earned this reputation thanks to the relentless efforts of their leader Kroger, coordinating their every move. Their newest contract has them serve as the Circle’s private army.
