The Expert DB BR 101 delivered the ultimate in-depth simulation experience for IC traffic in Train Sim World. TSG introduced multiple variants and liveries of the iconic locomotive, twinned with its sleek cab car, in a study-level format for use on routes throughout Germany and beyond such as Salzburg - Rosenheim, Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn and more.

In this Gameplay Pack, a comprehensive expansion of Expert 101 experiences is up for grabs in Train Sim World. Accelerate to a faster pace on the current longest route, Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel - Würzburg, in a suite of new scenarios and an authentic timetable which are designed from the ground up to further test your mettle.

Throughout the scenarios, look for unique details such as voiceovers, in-cab written orders and alterations to the scenery! Experience the route as it was in 2018 with the new timetable, race between Kassel, Fulda and Würzburg across IC services and more.

A new set of expert-level scenarios that put your driving skills and BR 101 knowledge to the test, equating to over 6 hours of additional gameplay:
Diversion: Engineering inspections are taking place to ensure that the bridges and viaducts are safe for use. Delays and wrong line running are to be expected.

Interference: Drive IC 1972 from Fulda to Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe accompanied by your Trainer. The stormy weather may provide some challenges along the way.

Keep Running: Rowdy passengers are causing drama on a Saturday night. Ensure your passengers are safely delivered to their destinations.

Rescue: IC 1172 is stranded between Kassel and Fulda! Start a rescue mission from Würzburg and tow the failed train to Fulda.

Evacuation: Rescue stranded passengers on a broken down ICE service. Prepare your loco from cold and then rish to the scene.

A new timetable for Kassel-Wurzburg that represents the route in 2018 (layered content available separately):
Revamped IC layer with many more 101 services, plus the use of the cab car, including some light loco runs where LZB use is prohibited

Reworked ICE layer to swap around ICE 1 and ICE 3 formations where appropriate, and including the addition of a DB RB 411 ICE-T layer from Frankfurt - Fulda

Added a layer for 2x FlixTrain BR 193 services

Added a high-speed railtour layer for Linke Rheinstrecke’s DB BR 103 and Mittenwaldbahn’s IC Rheingold coaches

Reworked freight layers, including allowing Semmeringbahn’s ÖBB 1116 to substitute into them

Added realistic AI to multiple points along the route where the high-speed line interacts or passes conventional rail lines
