Super Waifu Tsunami

Welcome to the first prototype build of Super Waifu Tsunami! Play as the fearless, sword-fighting princess: Marigold, as you move swiftly around platforms, execute combos, and use advanced attack-canceling techniques to style on your friends in this first-look at an exciting, new anime platform-fighter!

This game prototype features one playable character: Marigold, with 2 costumes, as well as 2 stages that each feature 6 selectable platform layouts. Grab your favorite controller* and dive in to experience the lightning-fast gameplay and unique mechanics that make SWT endlessly fun!

Game Mechanics:
Wavecanceling: A signature technique in SWT, any aerial attack can be canceled into a directional airdodge immediately after it hits. Your positioning and timing will be key to get the most out of Wavecanceling - use it wisely!
Edgecanceling: Like in most platform fighters, you can cancel your aerial landing lag by sliding off of edges after you hit the ground, but SWT doesn't limit this to aerials. All of your grounded normals - including tilts, Splash attacks, and dash attack - can be cancelled by sliding off an edge while performing them. The possibilities are endless!
Turnaround Ledgedrop: By flicking away on the right stick, you can release the ledge with your character facing away from the stage. SWT's ledge system gives you less invincibility time on the ledge, but more that you can do with it!
Perfect Airdodge: Powershielding is fun, so you should be able to do it in the air too. Well, you don't have a shield in the air, but you can perfectly time an airdodge to get a super-flashy teleport with no lag. Try Pairdodging with a directional airdodge and the result will be sure to excite you...
Reverse Platform Drop: Platform movement in SWT is among the freest and most intuitive of any platform fighter. You can drop through a platform while standing, shielding (by flicking the right stick down), or while dashing - and you can even turn around as you start to drop. Platforms are your friends, not your enemies!
