Celestial Sokoban

Oh no! The galaxy’s stars have fallen out of their constellations and must be carefully shifted back to their rightful locations. Star Children like you are the only celestial bodies that have arms, so it's your responsibility to put the stars back in place! Solve 25 handcrafted puzzles and try not to scramble the stars even worse than they already are. Go WILD, Star Child! Earn your place in the night sky!

Navigate the orbital map in order to push stars into their proper position and form constellations. Think carefully, as the wrong move could end up forcing you into starting over!

We took inspiration from orbit maps and whimsigoth art to bring Celestial Sokoban to life.

Each puzzle takes inspiration from traditional sokoban puzzles, while also incorporating the unique way you’ll need to traverse the radial grid that defines each level.

Celestial Sokoban is developed by Studio Hitsuji. We’re a small indie team challenging ourselves to develop deep and complex systems in worlds full of wonder and whimsy!
This project was developed out of our love for adding our little twist to puzzles and mechanics. Sokoban seemed like the perfect genre to try our hand at creating an interesting world full of interesting problems to solve. Plus, Star Child ended up being a simple, lovable character that just makes you want to smile!
