Backpack Seeker`s

Backpack Seekers is a top-down raid roguelite. Your weapons fire on their own. Everything else is on you: how you pack your backpack, where you stand, when you push your luck, and when you run for the bunker with your loot.
THE BACKPACK
Your backpack isn't storage. It's the blueprint of your build. Every item takes up its own cells, and every weapon has "stars": sockets for upgrades.
- A scope, suppressor or stock only works when it sits right next to the gun.
- Ammo changes the weapon it touches. Incendiary rounds burn, cryo rounds freeze, toxic rounds poison.
- Boosters amplify the mods around them. Solve the puzzle well and a plain rifle becomes a legend.
- An arsenal from knives and katanas to a minigun, an RPG-7 and a flamethrower, among 300+ items across four rarities.
THE RAID
Every raid starts in the bunker and runs on the clock. Monsters get stronger with every wave, and portals open as the in-game hours pass:
- Blue takes you home to the bunker with whatever you've found.
- Green takes you deeper, to a fresh map with untouched chests and tougher enemies.
- Red opens once a day and leads to the boss.
Die, and you can lose what's in your backpack. Stash your valuables in the bunker. Every portal asks the same question: leave now, or risk one more?
BOSSES
The bosses are huge, and each one is built around its own mechanic. That mechanic changes the whole fight, so "stand still and shoot" won't cut it.
- The Battering Mammoth charges in a straight line. Lure it into an ice block and it stuns itself.
- The Mirage Pharaoh hides among his copies. Hit the wrong one and the sand slows you while the figures reshuffle.
- The Toad Queen swallows heroes whole. Your teammate can get you out by hurting her from outside.
- The Phoenix falls as an egg. Fail to crack it in 7 seconds and it hatches at full health.
- The Guard Mech locks its laser on you for 2 seconds. Only a wall can save you.
- ...and nine more: an Ice Golem that splits, a Wendigo in the dark, a Rat King whose health bar is the swarm itself...
Win, and the portals home and onward open right away. Stay on the arena, and the next boss comes for you, even stronger.
BIOMES
Swamp, desert, tundra, lava fields and a dead megapolis. Maps are rebuilt every raid, with houses, chests, roads and lakes. Each biome has its own monsters (30+ kinds in all) and its own rules:
- You slide on ice and sink into quicksand and mud.
- Lava vents erupt with fire.
- At night, you only see what your flashlight shows you.
ELEMENTS
Fire, poison and cold work on monsters exactly as they work on you.
- Burning stacks up. Poison builds into the thousands.
- Cold builds until the target freezes solid. Hit a frozen enemy with fire and the ice shatters for massive damage.
- Poison makes burning hit harder, so a flamethrower and a toxic sprayer on the same team work well together.
- Burning, toxic and frozen puddles and clouds linger on the ground and split the battlefield into zones.
CO-OP
Play solo or with friends through Steam, up to 4 per lobby. If you go down, you can spectate your team until the raid ends. Bosses are designed for teamwork: if the toad swallows one of you, the others can hit her from outside and free their friend.
PROGRESSION
- 6 skills and 18 perks that unlock at 5, 10 and 15 points and change how you play. Crit chance above the cap turns into crit power, and luck raises the rarity of your loot.
- A trader and a shared stash in the bunker.
- A bestiary: right-click any monster to see what it is and where it lives.
- An item collection that remembers everything you've found, even after a new game.
RANKED RAID
Clear five missions to unlock the ranked raid. Every portal there leads to a random biome, the monsters are the toughest in the game, and your score goes onto the Steam leaderboard. Find out which of your friends lasts longest.
