This is how the story of the hero begins in the new game from the studio Shader Mess. It’s a variation on the well-known Breakout or Arkanoid, enriched with RPG elements, a story, quests with unique rewards, and perhaps even a few original tricks.

You can look forward to plenty of explosions, crumbling bricks, powered-up balls, tricky enemies, and other action-packed elements. The demo version of the game, which will soon be available for download, will offer the first 10 levels and a taste of everything the full game will expand into a complete gaming experience.

To make Beyond The Space Wall accessible to the widest possible audience, the game is fully playable with a keyboard, a keyboard/mouse combo, or a controller. The option to rebind all control keys is, of course, included.

But the game isn’t just about breaking bricks and smashing walls. Some quests will require you to complete specific missions – defeating a unique enemy, retrieving a treasure from hard-to-reach bricks, finding a secret level, and so on. Which path will your story take?
