"Medium5: Rebirth" is a fan game of MEDIUM5 produced by Beichen. We bulid a complete world for the members of MEDIUM5 and show you their new story and another possibility.
There are no barriers to entry for the content and playing of this game. Whether or not you have known anything about MEDIUM5 before, you can play it without any obstacles. We welcome any player interested in our game to try it out. We believe that you can feel the unique charm of MEDIUM5 from our game.
Type and gameplay
This game format is text-based adventure (AVG).
To increase the immersive experience , we add a lot of interactive game in the plot progression, such as QTE, achievement systems unlocked as the plot develops, and picture book functions.
Background settings
The story takes place in an fictional world - Shulv Planet. The basic operating rules of Shulv Planet are different from those of the general world, as the operation of all things depends on "sound". Sound is utilized in the form of rhythm by the life on Shulv Planet, and humans can also compose music based on rhythm to achieve stronger effects. The progress of humanity depends on the use of music, therefore the highest profession in human society on the planet is music producer.
Overview of plot
Due to unknown reasons, the foundation of all matter in this world - sound - has lost its balance. Only the last city of humanity, "City of Wish", barely maintains the normal cycle of sound, while the sounds outside the city, the original sounds of this world, have become violent and restless. Everything seems to have reached the brink of complete collapse...
Players will become the protagonists of the game, unexpectedly embarking on a journey driven by the thirst for life. During this period, the protagonist will meet companions with vastly different personalities, and the ultimate destination of this journey hides the truth of the world's collapse.

Later, we will release a demo version for players. The estimated playtime for the demo is 5 hours.
About speaking tunning
Specifically, it refers to using tuning within the corresponding voice library engine to enable the voice library originally used for singing to speak (which is essentially a quite difficult task, so the presented effect is different from real voice acting, please understand). All the voices corresponding to the virtual singer characters in this game are created using this method.
About MEDIUM5
MEDIUM5 is an original virtual singer project initiated by the creator community Quadimension. This project includes seven software singers: Stardust, Haiyi, Chiyu, Cangqiong, Shi'an, Yongye(also called Minus before), and Muxin.

As a fan game, the vast majority of the game's settings are created by ourselves, and some widely circulated settings will not be used.
