Mr. Hoob!

Mr. Hoob! is a 3D platformer based on the fake lost media post by Alan Wagner that went semi-viral in 2025. Players control a cheerful, pink character who is born in space after thousands of pink particles come together to form him. He lands on his home planet only to find there is only one other being that lives there. He goes to find other life forms and travels to a planet that is nothing but water, platforms, and not so friendly aliens.

On arrival his way of transportation falls into the water, only then does he find out the planets aliens aren't friendly. he leaps across floating platforms and squirts golden rings from his eyes to evade and capture enemies. As the game unfolds, its playful tone slowly shifts into something far more ominous.
Set in a fictional remaster of a mysterious 2006 game, Mr. Hoob invites players to uncover secrets about the game's publishers while appearing to be a normal family game.


HOOB-BORN
Mr. Hoob is birthed from thousands of pink particles that come together to form him.

CONTROLS
Use WASD to Walk, SPACEBAR to Jump, LMB to squirt a ring out of your left eye, and RMB to squirt a ring out of your right eye!

AQUATIC PRISON
The player eventually finds themself trapped on a planet that is nothing but water, platforms, and not so friendly aliens.

FALLING
Don’t worry! If you fall you WILL respawn!

ENDINGS
Mr. Hoob! has two endings. One ending, Space Junk, which is honestly pretty confusing, and Paramount, which explores a lot of game lore.
LORE
On April 17, 2006, Abern Veni (played by Chad Hersh) released the game Mr. Hoob!. Abern promises to visit players if they beat his game, but he unfortunately passed away due to an ailment. 20+ years later, an indie game developer made a remastered version of the game that supposedly holds secrets related to Abern and the publishing company (Krimsoft).

WHY WE THINK OUR GAME IS UNIQUE

We truly believe our game is unique because it started when a young teenage boy decided to take on a concept that was surely difficult to work with and turn it into a reality.
