Shrouded Lands

Shrouded Lands is a turn-based RPG. Lead The Witch, Exorcist, and Demonologist in a journey across swamps, forests, mountains and dungeons. In challenging turn-based combat, you will face demons, their disciples, possessed, and ancient creatures - each with unique skills and behaviours.
A dark adventure story where three mystics are leaving Last Shelter of dying humanity and entering demon-held lands, seized over centuries of war. Different goals, but same path, a path that may reveal hope for the rise of humanity.
Battle
Planning Phase - the foundation of battle. No actions take place here. Here, your decisions alone will determine the outcome of the round. Once all participants have made their choices, the clash begins: attacks, blocks, bleeding, deaths, exorcisms, and mind shackles. Here you only watch to see how effective your plans turn out to be.

Knowing the enemy’s next move is the key to an effective battle. Force them to plan before your characters, revealing their intentions. Or study your foes to anticipate their actions - each one follows its own logic, shaped by the flow of combat.
Dread, Fury, and Madness - three Torments that reign over the dark lands and shape the behavior of combatants. Their wise use can drastically alter the course of even the most difficult battles.
Exorcism is an alternative path to victory over possessed enemies. Free their souls, save lives and earn their gratitude. But remember: merciless enemies also employ various tactics against the mystics, inflicting Torments and increasing possession.
Characters & Builds

Mystics' armor defines their appearance and battle skills. Discover new armor for your mystics to diversify tactical approaches, create effective combinations with new skills, and achieve victories over powerful enemies.

Skills upgrades are rare, but they have a significant impact. By choosing specific upgrades, you shape your build: higher damage output or additional wound application? Improved defense or energy recovery? Additional bleeding to an enemy or longer bleeding duration? Wise upgrading will make your battle tactics more efficient.
Journey
Your journey will unfold in a sequence of locations - swamps, forests, mountains, and dungeons, where you will encounter a variety of enemies. You will choose your path under harsh conditions: growing fatigue, limited supplies for recovery, enemies all around - and the unknown ahead. 


Growing fatigue weakens your mystics in combat. Search for supplies and set up camps to reduce fatigue, heal, recover in a fleeting moment of safety.
