Arm of the Prince

For the first time since gaining independence, a young principality will welcome a delegation from its former Suzerain for an important negotiation regarding the possibility of establishing diplomatic relations.

At the site of the summit, conflicting interests strive to achieve their goals using any means at their disposal. Soldiers are betraying their commanders, civilians are selling information, and people who know too much are disappearing in the dead of night.
However, you are not to concern yourself with politics, for your mission is very simple: the negotiations must fail.

Arm of the Prince features tactical turn-based combat unrestrained by grids, square or otherwise. Lead the party against hostile creatures, unknown horrors, and enemy soldiers, as long as there aren't any witnesses.

Every character in the party is unique. They can learn from a wide pool of skills and use almost any gear you acquire. Have your designated healer carry a halberd and shoot lightning, if that's what you want.
Skills develop over time by using them in combat, but you can also invest in them directly on level up. 
Mastering any skill will enable new actions in combat in addition to passive effects.
