San Diego International Airport (IATA: SAN, ICAO: KSAN, FAA LID: SAN) is the primary international airport serving San Diego and its surrounding metropolitan area, close to the skyscrapers of Downtown San Diego.
FEATURES:
– Realistic modeling with over 50 custom modelled buildings.
– Detailed ground polygon model.
– Taxi signs and 3D taxi lights around the airport that follow the curvature of the line.
– Runway approach lighting.
– Beautiful background scenery and city using OSM (open street map).
– Realistic radar display.
The airport is known as the busiest single-runway airport in the US, with a difficult landing due to the relatively short landing area, steep descent angle over the crest of the Bankers Hill.
KSAN airport has two terminals and 51 gates:
Terminal 1 The historic terminal currently has 14 gates in use
Terminal 2 has two concourses (East and West), 32 gates
