《背血之楔》(Blood Oath) is a realistic 3D Souls-like game crafted with Unreal Engine 4.
Story Background
Set in a world ruled by gods who enslave ordinary humans, you play as a martial arts master trained since childhood, determined to save the world and restore freedom to its people. Originally planning to set out with your clan, tragedy strikes when your ship is ambushed by a sea monster, leaving you as the sole survivor. Transforming grief into power, you now shoulder the mission alone and embark on the path of "deicide."
Core Gameplay
The game features 3 chapters (approximately 5 hours of gameplay). Completing all chapters unlocks "New Game+."
Throughout your journey, you will face various monsters and dangers. Utilize the "Learning System" and "Shop" to acquire and enhance skills, obtain diverse weapons, upgrade your stats, and refine your equipment – growing stronger step by step. Defeat enemies to explore treasure chests scattered across the map, earning rich rewards. Vanquishing BOSSes grants special equipment, unique items, and even greater rewards, further advancing the main storyline.
Combat revolves around attacking, blocking, dodging, and skill combinations. Master mechanics like Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge to showcase your prowess. Tactically employ items like Smoke Bombs and Blazing Swords to expand your combat options and gain the upper hand.
Upon death, you will respawn at the nearest "Checkpoint." Resting at a Checkpoint restores your status, preparing you for the next battle.
Unique Level Feature
In Chapter 2, the protagonist must confront an onslaught of Skeleton Armies. Paralyzed by fear, you must drink Courage Potions to replenish your courage before the gauge depletes. Failure to do so empowers the skeletons, granting them increased health and higher attack power, presenting a significantly greater challenge to the player's skill.
